Pros

The pay is okay for the hours and management is intelligent but needs help figuring out the future.

Cons

Old boys network to the max. Equities has basically no women. No female analysts of any worth, and no female traders. Kind of a joke.

scrappy "mcguiver" culture preserved despite moving up to fill the hole made by the departure of Bear Stearns tech group is former broadview M&A boutique, high quality people and culture to the extent they were retained

Cons

equities, trading, and other capital markets fuctions are mediocre. pay doesn't compete with bulge bracket firms drove many of the best former broadview bankers out by crushing startup culture
