Pros

Bank has started to compete with the bulge brackets.

Cons

Where to begin... this bank has a terrible culture and completely disregards the well-being of analysts/associates. I have even heard managing directors joke about how they overwork and do not know the names of their own employees. Absolutely no career development/mentorship. Everyone is out for themselves. Managing directors consistently lie to clients (this is very well known on the buyside).

Pros

The pay is okay for the hours and management is intelligent but needs help figuring out the future.

Cons

Old boys network to the max. Equities has basically no women. No female analysts of any worth, and no female traders. Kind of a joke.
