Pros

Very flat structure. Title does not matter in terms of responsibility and exposure to senior management

Cons

No structure for analysts. No in depth training program, no mentoring. Paid below market vs other investment banks.

Pros

I guess already having worked there, the only pro I see is *just knowing* to what extent another human being (IB IT mgmt) will go to make you feel awful so the older guy can keep his job.

Cons

IB IT mgmt are sharks and they'll eat you alive (or at least it'll feel that way) if you don't know in detail the answer to whatever question they may have, to their liking. And they'll have tons of them.

Pros

Firm has grown in recent years, but most of the upward mobility opportunities seem to be gone.

Cons

Jefferies thinks its a bulge bracket bank and a lot of the bankers actually think they have a chance at deals against Goldman, Morgan Stanley, and JP. It's hilarious.
