Pros

Salary, benefits, work life balance. Jefferies has very nice offices and seems to allow employees to move around from office to office and to different positions within the bank. A good experience overall.

Cons

Management is not always on the same page as employees at large. Often times the bank is too concerned with new business and not serving current clients. Hours can at times be long

Pros

Flat organization Senior management approachable Bigger than a small firm but much smaller than bulge bracket banks

Cons

Very top heavy. Has a tradition of bringing Sr. traders from bulge-bracket with guarantees but always end up getting average traders. Does not believe in training and not a good place to start your career. Support groups are almost always neglected as the compensation is always distributed at the top. Poor technological systems
