Pros
So many great people who cared deeply about their work and each other. Hands down, the best part of working at Jellyvision was working with people who were kind, creative, motivated, and really worked hard to support each other. I learned a lot there about how to be part of a team.
Cons
The worst part was the lost potential because it truly had something special and rare for a while. I've never seen a place have so many great individuals who loved what they did, were self-motivated, and supportive of each other every day. Then I witnessed all of that change within just a couple of years. There were many who went beyond their job descriptions whose contributions were unacknowledged and consistently passed up for promotions, while some of the most absentee and self-promoting managers got promotions and public accolades. A lot of the best left because there was no room for them to contribute in a meaningful way and many were eventually encouraged to leave because there were no growth opportunities for them.
