      Good communications with senior management

      Pros

      Employees can interface with all levels of management; no one from the CEO on down is unapproachable. My team is a pleasure to work with. Very little friction or negativity from anyone, certainly much less than at my previous employer (a Fortune 20 company) - even the engineers are mostly friendly. Recognition for good work is well above average. The company made significant efforts to retain as many employees as possible during COVID, even with the slowdown in revenue. Remote work is allowed for most roles.

      Cons

      This company is multinational, but still not very large - 1,300 employees; this means that salaries and benefits are decent, but not as good as at larger companies. Annual bonuses and raises are fairly small. While management communicates well, turnover is somewhat frequent in some departments.

      World class expertise and industry experts. Work pace is challenging, but the pay is at or above industry norms. Spirit of collaboration among teams and desire to see others success has been my experience.

      Cons

      There’s no room to coast. Gotta be willing to work.

      Good local office, but difficult corporate-wide culture

      Pros

      -consistent work, good immediate working environment and excellent coworkers at local office (depending though on office, obviously)

      Cons

      The corporate side is extremely rigid and structured, to the point of being opaque, having meetings for the sake of meetings, lots of corporate gibberish speak instead of transparency, and very set in their ways.
