Pros

First time working with a start up and fully remote job, I found it easy with such nice coworkers that are always willing to answer my questions and help me with anything. Also was able to have a chance to meet & chat with two of the founders and COO relatively quick into starting the job and able to see how earnest they are with their goals and vision. The role itself makes me feel like I can actually make a difference in the company and people are willing to hear my thoughts/suggestions/feedback.

Cons

Very long interview process personally, but I find that I'm working with very smart people so I guess the interview process worked to get the best talent in the door.

Pros

Decent pay and working remotely is always a plus. Some coworkers are decent people.

Cons

They laid off a bunch of people in the beginning of the year while consistently instilling false hope in their employees about job security when concerns of a layoff were brought up. They are not to be trusted and neither is the CEO. This company is an absolute joke and their customer service department is awful, little to no organization and a lot of favoritism. Little to no growth opportunities, absurd metric expectations when days are extremely slow, not enough diversity & inclusion initiatives from this company. Save yourself and do not work for this company!

Pros

Remote work. That’s it. Coworkers are mostly nice and good, but that’s true everywhere.

Cons

There’s little room for professional development. You won’t be able to advance far in the company and there’s no structure to allow for this to happen. And you won’t receive raises. There’s ok insurance, but not anything special, and there’s no 401k matching—for years they have been saying they’re trying to make it happen, and I’m almost certain it never will at this point. They just don’t care enough to pay for it. They will gaslight you that your job is secure and they’re financially stable for years to come and then lay you off at the snap of a finger on a random day. It’s happened to so many people at the company., jsut read the reviews. They’re getting rid of all the talent because they can’t afford it and it’s gonna hurt them in the long run. If you value remote work this highly, go ahead and proceed…with caution.
