Pros

WFH, team mates were great

Cons

Expected to do all your role entails and then also pick up the slack for other teams who are on commission so do sloppy work just to get to the next sale. Lied about the business and how it was recession proof. Denied pay rises to help with inflation as this would help us to be financially secure and stable in a recession…then dropped half the staff. Any job with the public sucks but since Jerry set them up on the policies they think Jerry is the insurance provider and cuss us out when we have very little power to help with billing, claims etc. Burn out and stress. Low rate of pay

Pros

The work environment at Jerry is one of the most positive environments I've experienced. Leaders and peers at Jerry make sure they treat one another like humans first, they acknowledge everyone's efforts (no matter how small), and they take time out of their day to offer guidance. It goes a long way when you feel like you can approach your team with a work issue/emergency/personal matter and they will respond to you with empathy. One of the greatest things about Jerry is that everyone on the team is so sharp and knowledgeable about their field, that there is always an opportunity to learn something new. There is a natural sense of camaraderie because people respect others' ideas and opinions.

Cons

This is a tech start up with things continuously changing and in flux, which can make it hard to keep up. There is some level of routine, but the nature of the industry means new challenges each day. But, this also makes Jerry a great place to learn how to be flexible, nimble, and know how to make important business decisions.
