      Toxic leadership and grind culture

      Great coworkers and remote work.

      Cons

      Toxic company where some of the leadership thinks they are much smarter than they are and treats their team accordingly. You definitely have to be part of the "grind culture" to be liked here - I think the organizational culture would actually benefit from some team members getting a life outside of work. Very interesting how defensive they are in their review replies - including trying to discredit real reviewers by saying they have the wrong company LOL

      Pros

      The work environment at Jerry is one of the most positive environments I've experienced. Leaders and peers at Jerry make sure they treat one another like humans first, they acknowledge everyone's efforts (no matter how small), and they take time out of their day to offer guidance. It goes a long way when you feel like you can approach your team with a work issue/emergency/personal matter and they will respond to you with empathy. One of the greatest things about Jerry is that everyone on the team is so sharp and knowledgeable about their field, that there is always an opportunity to learn something new. There is a natural sense of camaraderie because people respect others' ideas and opinions.

      Cons

      This is a tech start up with things continuously changing and in flux, which can make it hard to keep up. There is some level of routine, but the nature of the industry means new challenges each day. But, this also makes Jerry a great place to learn how to be flexible, nimble, and know how to make important business decisions.
