Pros

Pros- the staff in all departments were all down to earth and awesome to get along with. Just your run of the mill employee trying to live a good life. Pay was good and so were the benefits.

Cons

Cons- when you first interview with leadership and management, it seems like the perfect company to join. They are welcoming and make it seem like they are willing to work with you with whatever situation you have going on. However, once you start taking them up on what they offered, they will give you the corporate responses and Backtrack on everything. If you even make their job a little difficult, they will find a way to get rid of you within the training period of your employment. Especially in the newly formed flight coordination Department. The senior manager of flight coordinators and the director of training and standards are the worst on not doing what they say. There is a high turnover rate in that department and I recommend avoiding it

Pros

There is always food. JAFS has great coworkers that are very supportive. I couldn't have asked for a better team. Most clients are awesome. Salaries are decent.

Cons

New management is very corporate and are all about numbers. No longer has the charm that made the company wholesome. New management and now is a different vibe. Stress and burn out are a promise. Responsibilities are through the roof and more are added frequently. Roles above flight control get exponentially demanding but you will find out what you are made of and the skill sets learned will make you better.

Pros

The pay is better than competitors starting out. There are people here who are truly awesome that have amazing resilience. Guaranteed raise/bonus for people who meet the basic standards and chances to get promoted are there. Management is made up of people who have flaws but most of them are trying and do care. I love working outside and helping people AND planes, this is a win win for me. Overtime is an option if you need more money and is usually not mandatory.

Cons

The pay doesn't really attract top talent you will get basically warm bodies with the occasional rock-star. (this is a problem everywhere wage stagnation vs. inflation) Retention rates are incredibly low if you manage to stick around 2-3 years they will basically promote you even if you have bathwater I.Q. The refugees from Signature aviation get paid waaaaay more than people hired for Jet Aviation who bust their butts for roughly the same amount of time. Some people here are seriously disgruntled employees.
