Pros

- Great environment - Good pay - Healty Culture

Cons

- It's customer service - Unrealistic expectations for attendance (if you're 1 minute late it's considered an occurrence) - God forbid you have an emergency, as it will also count as an occurrence - They micro manage your work and constantly compare your performance if they feel you're not on par with everyone else - Disorganized. There is little to no communication between departments which results in a constant back and forth. - Advancement is based on favoritism - They terminate employees how you take out trash that has a leak in it - High school level drama at times The bad outweighed the good --which ultimately led to my decision to leave.

Thanks for taking the time to write your feedback. You're right, we don't just want to be another "call center '. Sorry to hear about your experience. We do want people to manage their own PTO and minimize formal warnings for attendance and know this has been a big sticky point we're fixing. Feedback like this helps us strive to make things better for everyone, hope the good outweighs the bad at your next job. We'll pass along your comments to SLC. - Doug D. VP Member Services

Pros

The actual core values of what Jet is all about is great! Being Fair and Transparent and being open to one another is awesome. The free food, swag and raffles are great as well. Marc Lore was really cool. The pay is good for a call center

Cons

The core values are not implemented as stated during training. A lot of people will throw you under the bus instead of helping out. The environment has a high school vibe, it is very cliquey which can make for an uncomfortable work environment. I notice a lot of favoritism within management. Some people will slide under the radar while others will get fired for small reasons and barely even get a warning. Again not a lot of room for growth unless your someones buddy. A lot of fake people.

Thanks for giving us your feedback. Happy there are some good pros on your list, but it's unfortunate to hear the vibe isn't feeling right. Our core values are extremely important to us, and we strive to embed them in our every-day decision making. If you have other questions or concerns about management and current decisions, we hope you feel comfortable discussing it more with us. Feel free to reach out to the Talent (HR) team or me. - Doug D, VP, Member Services

Pretty exterior but not so nice to work for

Pros

Get in your year if you're offered stock, and then leave.

Cons

Don't work with the tech side of the organization for more than a year. There is no upward mobility, your questions to management will be met with slaps to keep you down, and you generally just have to drive yourself. HR is belligerent instead of helping. "Management" has no idea how to manage. They want to keep people in place long enough to get the job done, and then you can leave.

Thanks for taking the time to provide some feedback. Jet is growing like crazy (we're hoping to add at least 200 in Hoboken just this year alone). Really, the opportunities for development and advancement are extraordinary. Please send me a note and let's chat about your concerns and see if we can come up with a plan.
