Pros
* JetHead's greatest strength are its employees who are knowledgeable and outgoing. The support from co-workers with independent projects, impromptu outings, or really any general assistance is astounding.
* The work can be interesting, cutting edge (depending on your project), and fielded in millions of homes, so you see the results of your effort.
* The culture is the best i've seen from any previous employment i've held. JetHead is very flexible with time schedules, no dress code, weekly free lunches, and more.
* As a medium sized company you can better shape how you want to work and what you want to work on. Don't like your project? Ask to move to something more interesting. Want to try updating existing systems to a better or newer technology? Senior developers and management are open and willing to improvements in product and process.
* Competitive benefits, especially the 401k matching.
Cons
* Some projects are not that interesting. For instance, I don't find bug fixing and vendor support very interesting.
* Time tracking is on par with other tech companies, but I don't like it so it's a con for me.
