Pros

Great benefits. Good location. Strong team members

Cons

Management is very inconsistent and not trained on how to manage staff. Mixed messages from team members compared to management. Contiunuous reorganizations and bloodlettings. Every week there were constant memos sent out about who is not in the organization any longer.

Nothing Has Changed

Pros

The work life balance is fine if you are fine with being called not a team player.

Cons

Do you want to do more work for less pay? Do you want to be at fault for things you can't control? Do you want leadership that never changes a d**n thing? If you answered yes to any of the above, go to Jewelers Mutual! It’s got it all - mismanagement, micromanagement, gaslighting, constant turnover, backbiting, unrealistic expectations, toxic culture, and more! Read the reviews from 2020 and 2021 because absolutely none of that has changed. Don’t take a job at this company, it's not worth it.

Top Heavy on Management, Moves Fast.

Pros

Great cafe and other onsite amenities. Good retirement plan, smart and engaged employees. Room to move/grow. Decent wages and average benefits.

Cons

Gets top heavy on management. Then decides to re-org and let go many management or VP/SVP positions with limited explanation other than “streamlining the business to be more efficient and achieve goals” -type explanations. Lots of turnover in IT. Sets VERY aggressive goals and likes to move fast with everything, and does not consider how much workload is placed on employees as a result, then wonder why folks leave. Was told by the CEO that the company is only a place for those who “want a career, not a just a job”. Feels like just doing your job isn’t enough. Company leadership acts as though being the first and the best at everything is the only option. Diversifying the business so fast some employees don’t even know what kind of company we are trying to be. Senior leadership is pushing the company to grow so fast yet failing to realize it makes the company get in its own way. Also, everything has to be a meeting. Some employees state their days are so filled with meetings they log on at night and weekends just to complete normal work.
