Pros

The JAA is a wonderful place to work. From the care of the residents to the beautiful campus, it is an excellent work environment. The floors are staffed extremely well. There is a union and unbeatable benefits for the union and non-union staff. Employees are able to grow and move around within the company. I have personally gotten promoted 2 times from where I started. The JAA is a very loyal and giving company. It's also conveniently located next to the Waterfront which is great for going out to lunch or doing some shopping after work.

Cons

The pay rates sometimes start off on the lower side, as it is a nonprofit. However, raises are given very frequently and the longer you stay, you will be easily making more money.
