Pros

- Casual work atmosphere - CEO, CTO and many other leaders are great people - Lots of opportunity to learn for junior staff - Real good designers and product managers - Great communication with non-technical staff - Culture and social atmosphere are fantastic

Cons

Just the usual: - There's a couple of d-bags (you put 100 people in a room and odds are...) - Sometimes communication issues can slow down productivity - No remote work

Pros

Super inclusive environment: as a female-identified person who's worked most of her career in male-dominated spaces, it's awesome to be in a place where all my colleagues treat each other the same regardless of gender. It's a place where folks can bring their full selves to work, and although I work pretty independently in my role, I get to interact with people on a bunch of different teams, and they're passionate and smart and supportive. Jobber also has an awesome community presence, supporting initiatives/events like Startup Week, YESS, Edmonton Pride, and Movember. I get regular 1:1 time with my manager, the leadership team is super accessible and responsive to feedback, and I have a lot of autonomy over the work that I do. Other bonuses include: gender-neutral bathrooms on every floor, a fully stocked kitchen, and after-work beer on tap.

Cons

The extended benefits package isn't *super* amazing, but given it's a smaller company it's to be expected, and it covers what I need it to.
