Pros

I had the chance to work alongside some incredibly smart people, and many of those relationships have turned into lasting friendships. The compensation was competitive for the local market and felt fair for the role.

Cons

Senior and executive leadership often spoke about efficiency, but their actions suggested a limited understanding of how the IT organization actually operated. There was very little confidence in Agile practices, despite the measurable output and quality the team consistently delivered. In 2024, the decision to eliminate the entire organization was positioned as a cost-saving move for stakeholders. From my perspective, it overlooked the volume and impact of the work being done and created a clear disconnect between leadership priorities and operational reality.
