Pros

Tremendous resources. Large organization. Invest in some people. Support from top management to be better at production, quality, and safety.

Cons

There was more stress on production rather than operations as an automotive tier one or sales through third parties. While I was there, were updating plant to meet long term plans and production requirements but did not invest in immediate health, safety, and personnel needs. Despite size and resources, did not have mature programs. Management was always trying to prove themselves and there was a disconnect between company goals and plant emphasis. Very stressful working environment. Distrust by the union did not help.

Pros

Decent pay, all the OT you wanted

Cons

Management sucked, they would let certain people walk around and do nothing all day, but they expect for others to make up production quota cause management wouldn't manage the "special ones"
