Pros

Better Commute than previous company.

Cons

Boy..where do I start. If your a seasoned engineer stay clear away. You will be extremely disapointed and bored of the day to day work. Very little, if no engineering projects. However, If your're a recent graduate, you might (I stress might) learn some engineering to add to your resume that will help lead you to a much better company after a few years. Great Setting stone for novice engineers.

Pros

Decent pay, good PTO and benefits

Cons

Everything else. ZERO training. They hand you a laptop (which is garbage) and say good luck. There is no "team." Everyone is on their own. The senior techs all reached their peak 20 years ago and don't even know what BACnet is. The bureaucracy is unbearable. Ordering a simple part is nearly impossible. There are so many apps you have to check in on everyday and they care more about those metrics than they care about the service their customers are receiving. If you want to get your butt kicked everyday with zero support at a company that specializes in taking advantage of their customers, this is the job for you.

Micromanaging to the Worst Degree

Pros

OK benefits, PTO and met some nice people along the way.

Cons

Micromanaging to the extreme! Promote more supervisors, leads, etc to watch you. I guess this is how they justify their jobs. Start evaluating these people from the top and you will find where the issues are. This pilot SRC program had promise but not anymore. Go back to the old ways and cut out this program along with that senior management team.
