Pros

Nothing other than free onsite parking and handful of decent colleagues you meet along the way.

Cons

1. Senior management (CFO & MD) are unfortunately quite incompetent with staff retention, wellbeing and work life balance as this is shown by the high turnover of staff over the one year period (50-60 staff member turnover) 2. This subsidiary values revenue over anything, so if you’re looking for a company with good culture, this isn’t for you. 3. Senior management and their expectations of working over 10 hours per day is a norm and staff members are frowned upon if they leave on time. 4. MD & CFO both speak to staff like they’re below them especially when caught in a bad mood. 5. Favouritism at its finest with JHTA and this is clearly demonstrated through the distributions of bonuses and pay rises. If you’re not in their good books, you won’t get a bonus. 6. Extremely toxic culture as people will back stab each other in order to keep their job.

Pros

-Fast-paced environment with exposure to multiple areas of the business -Take on responsibility early across a wide range of tasks

Cons

-Expectations were consistently extremely high and often felt unsustainable -Workload regularly felt equivalent to multiple roles at once -Boundaries around personal time were not respected, leadership team reaching out during sick leave, holidays, and after-hours. -Concerns raised by employees were not always addressed, contributing to ongoing stress within the team -Leadership communication and direction were often unclear and disorganised and constantly changing. -High staff turnover, particularly among newer employees leaving within short timeframes- within 6 months. -Overall environment felt consistently high-pressure with limited focus on employee wellbeing or sustainability -The workplace culture was not a good fit, I'd suggest others speak to current/former staff before accepting an offer."
