Pros

Satisfaction of helping patients that may have nowhere else to go. Plenty of providers, so only on call every 15 nights or so. Telephone call only, no after hours or hospital work.

Cons

Frequent staff turnover. Poor communication from administration. Expectations greater than can reasonably be expected. Stressful trying to do good patient care with limited resources.
