Pros

flexible schedule, pay is decent for the work

Cons

if you don't respond to the texts right away, you will not get jobs. even though they ask you not to be on the phone while you're nannying, if I followed that rule I would have worked half as much.

Pros

Networking with families, set your own hours, if you work on-call you get to meet new and different families/children everyday, jeans and a t-shirt environment, pay is above average.

Cons

If you don’t have a permanent family that you’re working with, with set hours, your income can vary/be unpredictable significantly.
