Pros

The only pro is that is pays. But not even a lot.

Cons

Everything. No benefit. No paid time off. No development. No real training. No constructive criticism just criticism all the time.

Pros

-hiring process was swift and efficient -met a lot of families and engaged with diverse cultures -still keep in contact with a handful of families I met -learned a lot more about child care and taught parents a few tricks as well

Cons

-management switched from bright horizon to this -take the parent’s side without considering the context (worked with the company for going on 2 years and a strange lady whose home was filthy and whose husband sexually assaulted me accused me of stealing her remote. I had the remote by accident and was planning to return it but she wanted me to return it that day. I live far from her and didn’t even own a TV at the time. -wanted to meet in person in NJ for meetings that could be held over zoom. This wasn’t the case with the previous management but I’m not sure if that’s due to COVID or not -some families are difficult and weird (a dad sent me a sexual message asking if I’d sleep with him, man sexually assaulted me, a grandma woke up a sleeping child and when the baby started crying she told the mom) overall though, I met some amazing families I still keep in contact with but that was before the management switch.

Pros

My coworkers and boss were very nice and helpful

Cons

No training, worked 24/7 when told I would work 8-5. So much work I get pressured to skip lunch everyday. Have to go babysit and they won't pay for miles or gas when I had to drive 40+ miles extra everyday for a month. The owner couldn't remember my name for a year and she only had ~ 8 employees. No growth. No benefits at all. Was sick in the ER overnight and she expected me to work there- in the middle of the night in case I couldn't come in the next day. When I couldn't because of how sick I was, I got yelled at. One of the worst companies I've ever worked at.
