It's a job with okay benefits

This company is top-heavy with many unqualified managers who lack professionalism and communicaton skills. All they care about is continuing to merge with other law firms and opening new offices around the globe while taking more and more benefits away, especially from their support staff.

Thought I would be here another 10 years, new CIO and director changed all that

Pros

Before the current CIO and his director arrived, this was a good place with mostly good IT people to work with. THere were issues of course but at least we worked to try to improve things. Good budget to work on IT projects I spent many hours working for the firm to improve IT and didnt mind it

Cons

New management arrived and totally changed the whole culture. Absolutely NO communication. Director tells you one thing, does another. Cant trust anything he tells you. Talks about KLG 2.0 but has really done nothing other than hire a bunch of new managers Brought in inexperienced, unprofessional staff from other organizations and handed the reins to them.
