Pros

Work from home. Tuition reimbursement.

Cons

Too many amateurs in roles in which experts are needed. Inconsistency from school to school, dependent on the caliber of the leadership. Teacher pay is shameful. K12 is always trying to do things on the cheap and you get what you pay for. Poor 401(k) match and executives are "over bonused"

Pros

Young crowd for the most part, pot lucks....that is about it

Cons

Salary is very low, They fire people left and right, your job is never secure, they monitor every call and watch your screen. You get written up and then fired. Bonuses are a long gone memory at this point. Management does not know what they are doing. Long hours and lots of over time. Shifts go till 11 pm and in busy season till midnight. No life work balance. They afire all the people hired under contract once enrollment season is over. But they always promise them that if they are good they will get offered a perm. position...it is a LIE! beware they will just suck the life out of you and then throw you away. Micro management is the worst. Don't dare call out or your job maybe not be there the next day. They have a point system for call outs, tardiness and even going 30 seconds over your break. Favoritism is a big thing. People got promoted and then fired a month later... It feels like its all a trap or a strategy to fire people. The best people have already left on their own. Its a slaughter house when enrollment season is over. They are always changing in a bad way, company is going down hill. Even if you put your two weeks in they basically tell you don't bother coming back for the two weeks. They fire people in the cruelest way. Its just a bad company, and I would recommend that you don't even bother with it.
