Pros
I have been an employee with k12 for over 5 years. I love my job and the people I work for and with! Working for a company that really cares about me, as a person, is important to me, but also working for a company that is driven by educators that truly have the desire to make education available to ALL students is even more important to me! K12 offers students and their family a positive learning environment and a welcomed alternative to "regular" public school. K12 has motivated me to continue being an educator, even after 38 years!
Cons
Although the work hours are somewhat flexible, this is not an 8:00-4:00 job! I sometimes am working early in the morning, getting ready for class, and some days I work in the evenings and on the weekends. You must be able to prioritize your time to get everything completed that is required of you! If you are an organized person, you will have no trouble in this position!
