Pros
Has the potential to become a great company. KBR has a strong code of ethics, but then I guess most other companies of this size have to as well.
Cons
Very internally focused with stifling bureaucracy and opaque processes. “Innovation” is almost a dirty word. KBR’s culture often reminds me about the “Yes Minister” episode about an award winning hospital without any patients – KBR would be much more efficient without those pesky projects. I continue to hear glib “people are our greatest asset” statements from senior management yet there hasn’t been a salary review for three years in this region. No active career development programmes in my 10+ years even though we promise this in job advertisements. Expect to work very long hours and have your heath decline through inadequate sleep.
