Pros

I was always treated fairly and was always given expanded responsibilities as my experience grew. I never felt like i had to negotiate in order to grow. I just came with experience and of course, performance.

Cons

KBR's involvement as a overseer and approach to risk management, because they are a public entity may limit future pursuits and opportunities.

Pros

Good pay 9/80 work schedule International Lot of employees with 30+ years of tenure

Cons

Very poor communication, poor work life balance, constant reorganizations that lead to inefficient work and wasted time leading to poor morale Challenge is due to stressful environment, constant rework and change, and needless drama and stress. A lot of "who you know" and "what is your title" behavior instead of being a team working for the same company.

Pros

On LOGCAP operations Iraq; Travel in and out of county is very good compared to other companies... many complain about BTC but have zero experience traveling in Iraq with out billeting and other support. If you are an office jockey you will have great access to phone and emails. Money deposited on time and correct amount as long as you did your part with the time sheet. Good billeting at most camps if you have seniority on camp and part of the Base Camp operations..hint hint you have to be O&M base camp services not TTM or CLSS. Vacation ticket program for company purchased tickets is lot better than competition. I got everything i was promised.... except one thing COBRA plan coverage at stated rate and duration.

Cons

LOGCAP.... You do not work for KBR... Just a company shell out of Dubai.... Do not expect a real long career unless you are a company man or las out of Houston HQ.... Do not plan to work there for one month; just work day to day. Save your money... Divorce is high... easy to get fired for contraband (like a cellphone in some cases) or a seatbelt violation. Smart about being lazy folks and some special... friends of friends won't get fired... No actual credential checks on resumes unless it is a CDL; just write it and you will get hired... Company played a game with COBRA coverage administrative provider and employee cost is up 250% a month as of 1 Jan. I'm sure it saved the company a pretty penny....Thanks a lot....
