      Pros

      Flexible hours, work from home opportunity, Lots of opportunity to grow professionally and for upward mobility within the company structure. The benefits package is the best I have been given since starting in the Land Surveying industry, including being a shareholder in the company upon being hired. The company actively encourages continuing your education and is willing to support you in these endeavors.

      Pros

      KCI values their people as their greatest resource and it shows through the benefit package, the flexibility for work/life balance no matter your situation, and their dedication towards investing in the development and professional growth of their staff. They provide growth and leadership opportunities at all levels within the company, with an overall mindset of retention and succession planning for the company's long-term success. The company provides additional wellness and educational benefits to employees that go above and beyond other comparable workplaces. Additionally, KCI is 100% employee owned, so every employee gains employee stock value and with this comes a culture of a true team and family. Everyone comes to work to do their best and perform quality work for the clients, not only because that is the job, but because there is higher personal incentive the better the company performs as a whole. KCI also offers internship and rotational engineering program opportunities for new engineers who are still determining what engineering discipline they are most interested in pursuing a long-term career in.

      Cons

      Some may see a con as having to come to the office 3 days a week now with the new WFH mentality, but KCI managers are extremely flexible with each individual's own personal situation, and although the corporate standard is now WFH only 1-2 days per week, the flexibility beyond that is provided.

      While working at KCI your leadership and technical skills will greatly improve through encouragement and welcomed opportunities. There are leadership programs for selected employees to participate in. KCI also has open communication with upper management and Corporate. We also have wonderful benefits including an ESOP program, tuition support for education and 401K matching..

      Cons

      KCI like any company is working towards bringing a more diverse workforce and having a more inclusive culture.
