Fun atmosphere and interesting work
Pros
Management is understanding as long as you tell them you need help before they see that you need help, which is fair. I started as a contract worker and was hired on a year later. My bosses and coworkers were the best part. This job truly launched my career. I started making $17/hr and after 2 and a half years it led to me gaining the industry knowledge to where a different company is now paying me $80k/yr. You will learn so much at this company as long as you have the drive to learn. I will say, make the boss your friend by doing good work and asking what he or she thinks you could be doing better. Management sees that and they will always promote the hardest worker first.
Cons
Pay is dismal. The people doing the same job as the designers, but who are working directly for the energy provider make almost twice as much.
