Prepare to be lied to continuously
Pros
Pays the bills, for the most part. Some people are nice, those who crossed the picket line to get where they are not so much.
Cons
Poor pay. Ultra conservative (economic) politics get forced down your throat. Terrible raises...You will be poorer each year that you work there due to raises that are below the rate of inflation. Additionally, manufacturing positions need to complete PFAK (pay for applied(?) knowledge) in order to get decent reviews. One cannot simply be good at their job or knowledgeable or helpful, one must be subjectively graded with no backing to the grades. Good luck moving up unless you are related to someone in the office or has had liaisons with Dick Resch. Management is largely unqualified to be in the positions that they are in (see above).
