Pros

KIND is not only a name for the company but also a company policy. Everyone I work with is young and motivated. They have a strong product line and an even stronger movement. Since working for KIND I have seen my managers get countless promotions.

Cons

Unfortunately I cannot grow within this company after graduation. KIND does not like to promote KIND University Ambassadors to higher positions. We are considered the lowest of the low on the totem pole and do not qualify for other positions.

Pros

As cliche as it sounds, everyone is kind... the culture around the company is great, very supportive, people are awesome and motivated, we get a lot of free stuff - 'swag', snacks, etc... Part time work as a Brand Ambassador is pretty straight forward. Ranges from doing demos, to sampling product at events, dropping off product in the city, really random stuff sometimes... Very simple stuff. Easy tasks - it just requires a lot of positive energy, knowledge of the snacks, and being able to adapt to situations. Company is constantly growing and evolving (this can be great and not so great sometimes)

Cons

Sometimes things may be unorganized or there is miscommunication. Schedule has to be a month in advance which can be good and bad. Nothing is guaranteed. You CAN tell your Team Lead you want more hours and where you want them... MUST let them know what you want. Do not just expect things to happen. You have to MAKE them happen here! No raises for a Brand Ambassador... sometimes given more responsibilities, no raise. Generally speaking, moving up here is hard in for most employee's. Unless a department is desperate for help right away, and they know you really well? Not sure. If you want to move up as a KBA and do something else in Kind - it is very difficult. Good luck. About 4 or 5 of KBA's (in NYC) in the last year tried to move up and got denied. People outside of the company got the job, sometimes with less experience or qualifications. It KINDof sucks to see that happen to hard working people who really fit that criteria or may have performed even better and grown a lot in that higher up position.
