Pros

Very nice offices, good support system (admin and IT support, learning and development programs). The firm sets high expectations for all of its employees so it can be a very challenging environment, but a good opportunity for personal growth. Accomplishments are recognized. Good benefits and compensation.

Cons

Work/life balance can be difficult. There seems to be more red tape since the company went public several years ago. KKR has lost a bit of the boutique/family firm culture with their growth over the last 7 to 8 years.

Pros

Money, benefits and the people. I get along with everyone and you can joke around and not be too serious with people.

Cons

Hours are horrendous. You can't move up in the company because that process is too political. They won't fire incompotent workers which means you might work for a manager who's dumber than you.
