Pros
It's a good retirement place. Legacy generation who can't accept new changes.
Cons
An open secret: Too many incompetent people in Building 1 (corporate functions). Cant provide the basics (lab/working space, decent cafe, parking, outsourced IT support,...). Keep hiring in Michigan to support CA. Total disconnect. Execs very proud of giving $6B buyback to shareholders, nice shiny conf room for customers by squeezing employees. Totally out of touch from employees. Compensation is abysmal, 3% raise when inflation 8.6%. Laughable RSU too embarrassed to compare w/ friends at other company. New hire get better compensation. They want people to quit. On top of it Execs protect a few toxic people which drove attritions.
