      Aggressively managed, and generally well-run. If you had a dollar to invest, you'd want KLA to manage it.

      Pros

      Process-oriented, as well managed overall as I've seen any company. They make sure to get the most out of their investments, which also includes their people - which may not necessarily be what all employees are looking for. There are still people who want to do the right thing, who keep this place going.

      Cons

      Politics abound. People doing consistently good work are not necessarily recognized. It's the squeaky wheel that gets the oil here more than in most places. There are a few who know what their doing, and seeming cadre of middling mgrs who ride them.

      Pros

      Bonuses Company has a well-established name/brand recognition Austin is a great place to live

      Cons

      A small satellite office a long way from headquarters. Products that aren't core to the company, but the company won't spin them off. Austin management that has little talent other than brown nosing and posturing. Lot of execu-talk and litle else, other than regular ass-kicking. No leadership. No sense of appropriateness of applying management principals.
