Pros
Opportunity to grow professionally among the team of highly qualified peers is the best part of KT experience. It is a good professional school that will prepare you to a career at any another company. 5 years at KT is time well invested. More will be hazardous to your health.
Cons
Sweatshop, constant threat of a layoff without regard to seniority and/or contributions, 60 hours weeks is considered normal, 75-80 hours will sooner or later get you a promotion, 50 hrs a week is a ticket to the next layoff. Offshoring hard core engineering work (both HW and SW) hurts morale and bottom line. Compensation tends to be on a lower side compared to competition.
