      Great place for your first job

      Pros

      Very keen on talent development, good training / learning opportunties. Good community atmosphere, easy to collaborate with cross functional group. Agile company, quick to adapt to changes.

      Cons

      Very dynamic and frequent management change open opportunity but also reduce stability and security. Work can be very demanding and difficult to strike balance.

      Pros

      KT is a great place to work. Environment is good, industry is great, coworkers are excellent people and professionals. There are constant challenges ahead and creative solutions are always valued. Very strong incentive to stay sharp with onsite and offsite training and even higher education. That allied with a multi-cultural organization make it an excellent place to learn and work.

      Cons

      Despite all "pros" KT does not have a competitive salary policy. Not only that we do not always get the recognition for our efforts. Senior management does recognize us tough and does their best to show that (we recently received iPads as gifts) but the division level management seems blind to what we do every day and probably think that we are unaware of the market place around us.

      Pros

      There are probably more opportunities at corporate headquarters than in remote office locations. Managers seem happier than rank and file employees.

      Cons

      Acquisition was not handled well, in that key employes were not retained, new hires did not come on board, and the first reaction to soft demand (as a result of the global economic slowdown) was to offshore everything.
