      Pros

      The company lean towards conservative management style where process and financial disciplines are diligently adhered to. Well established Product Development cycle, great marketing emphasis to ensure products are developed with customer's use cases in mind. Good quality people to work with. Good talent pool.

      Cons

      Inconsistent performance vs. reward across the company. Company at times overlooks "good people" from smaller division. Moving around internally is difficult because of immediate management protectionism, so employees sometime feel "stuck". Company politics can be damaging to productivity Lack of work vs. life balance that leads to some unhappy employees.

      Pros

      A real engineering company with access to technology that is rarely found elsewhere. Optics, electronics, percision motion systems, high speed image computers, robotics, complex system software, and difficult optimization problems - K-T provides access to all those technologies at one company.

      Cons

      Growth has slowed and opportunities and compensation have slowed with it. Its a semiconductor company and this segment has always been cyclical. Expect lots of ups and downs and some job insecurity in the down cycles.
