The work culture has deteriorated a lot in last one year due to reorgs in KONE IT India. Typical manager has become a leader and because of the same only politics is something that is going on in the organisation . We all can see dictatorship in the behavior and nothing else. The recent appraisal process was a hog wash as everyone got reduced ratings ( except the chosen and favorite ones ) irrespective of their contribution to the organisation. All the work and contribution got wasted as they got reduced ratings and that to also without any justification. Anyway this is how it is. The work culture has reduced to a political game and whoever does more is rewarded. Chooses people are asked to join the organisation and are given key responsibilities irrespective of their background or experience. It used to be a very good Finnish organisation, however now it has become a typical Indian company where people make sure their whimsical ideas are dictated. The HR policies are not great too which generally helps employees .Very difficult to grow here as career growth is almost negligible. If this continues we don't see any future here.
