Pros

KONE pays well. In fact they have the top payouts in the industry. The benifits are very good as they even have pensions. I would reccommend this

Cons

Just like any career; long hours and stressful situations will be around the corner. But, KONE offers many solutions for this. Insurance pays for messages as well as stress reduction.

Pros

Decent starting Salary, Had to negotiate hard to get it when I interviewed for the job. Lasted 2 1/2 years doing a death commute. The Co did pick up all the commuting expenses.

Cons

Very poor management on the District and sometimes the Region level. Office politics on the District level negatively exasperated by the Co having multiple performance metrics for the various departments. A lot of department backstabbing in order to protect their numbers rather than working cooperatively for the betterment of the company as a whole.

Pros

Flex scheduling, great work life balance, true diversity, upper management listens even if people in reviews don't always know it. Compensation is fair, pension is good and nice 401k.

Cons

Call themselves a flat hierarchy... not true... there are many complicated dotted lines so that corporate in Finland can integrate into the US- not a bad thing but it does make daily business complicated. Helpdesk support is weak unless you can get one of the us based KONE TMs to help. US Vacation policy is antiquated and the director of HR from Finland had no clue it was like that here.... major disconnection.
