Pros

Flexibility to create your schedule. If you’re a go getter and able to manage your time wisely this is a great place. On the flip side this can also be a con. Getting to engage with different clients in different industries is incredible. The relationships you are able to build with your clients makes your job that much better. When your clients trust you and decide to implement what you suggest to improve their safety culture it is a huge win and gives you the feeling that you’re making a difference.

Cons

The company’s core values seemed to have been pushed aside. Maximizing profits is high on the to do list but it’s also part of running a business. HIGH turn over. LOW pay when looking at industry standard. As mentioned above as a pro, flexibility to make your own schedule. If you want a decent bonus be prepared to see a substantial amount of clients, which in turn causes consultants to rush through work to fit all clients into the quarterly schedule. Seems like the company is more focused on quantity of visits being completed than quality. Also with the flexibility it seemed as though this was being taken advantage of by some. Slight chance of “upward” movement. Software rarely worked properly both for clients and internal staff resulting in constant issues. Survey results appeared to be filter to only show the “good” going on when it was evident that employees were/and maybe still are unhappy.
