Pros

Lots of opportunities for drinks, food, and socialisation. Very good receptionists and catering team. Lots of talented people to learn off.

Cons

Silo teams and difficult to get work across service lines for breadth of experience if you have not specialised, or your team cannot utilise you enough. You should be personable and likeable to ensure success, positive word of mouth internally is crucial. Getting a very strong manager should help you to struggle less in general. Difficult to fast-track promotions unless you are able to sell or do over-time.

Pros

KPMG is a decent platform to start the career path. You could learn a lot of things if you have initiatives.

Cons

The payoff is relatively low. Employees are just like part of a machine. And people could hardly express their uniqueness. Work/life balance could be guaranteed.
