      If non salaried the overtime makes for a decent wage.

      mandatory on call 7 day rotations, no respect for personal life, no support from higher ups, high turn over, high case loads

      - good pay - flexible hours for the position

      Cons

      - the staff lack a lot of inclusivity. I heard nurses talk about transgender clients poorly and case managers and therapists do the same. - staff makes fun of clients - not a lot of sensitivity towards racial slurs heard a nurse say one once

      Pros

      The opportunity to work around your schedule is limited, but possible if you set strict work hour boundaries. However, you will give up some of your nights and often some of your weekend. Mgmt will tell you it is part of the job.

      Cons

      Mgmt has limited business experience outside of the company. The are not forward thinking and do a poor job with planning. If you bring up a concern, you are immediately labeled as “not a team player.” They believe in a system which only offers criticism to the worker and never to the supervisor or mgmt. Most of the staff are afraid to speak honestly in meetings for fear of retribution. However, if you do speak up, many staff will call you personally to applaud your boldness or to thank you.
