Consider having a conversation with your manager or supervisor and let them know how they can support you, so you can find balance before burnout. As an organization that helps people achieve mental health wellness, it's imperative that we take care of our own employees. Consider using the Q12 employee engagement survey to bring attention to Q03: I have the opportunity to do what I do best or Q05: Someone seems to care about me as a person. The results will open doors for change and progress in these areas when you answer honestly and share your voice in the State of the Team meeting. Retention is also very important to us. When our teams focus on building employee engagement, an effect we see is increased employee retention. We will pass along your advice to management. Thank you!

Thank you for your review. We appreciate your acknowledgment that KVC allows for flexibility to plan your days/week. It's unsettling to hear you describe KVC's culture as toxic. We've been working hard towards the opposite, to build a positive, supportive culture using research-backed approaches, but based on your feedback, it's clear we still have work to do. We are actively working with managers and upper management by providing monthly trainings and coaching sessions so they can better support their teams. We also conduct the Q12 employee engagement survey twice a year where we ask for all employees to voice their feedback and concerns, which then is shared and discussed within teams to identify problems and areas to work on. We are sorry we didn't get the chance to change this experience for you. We wish you the very best in your career.
