Pros

Work-life balance is taken very seriously, great benefits. The general "no a**holes rule" leads to a pretty solid culture. A _real_ focus on diversity is embedded in the culture, which has lead to a diverse early-stage startup which is exceedingly rare.

Cons

It's an early stage startup, so direction and feedback can be difficult to gather. Things change quickly. People need to be self-starters to find the job satisfying.

Kadena is the best place to work in Haskell. Period.

Pros

- The technical team is second to none. We have some serious Haskell minds here. Authors of major Haskell frameworks, contributors to Lens... excellence all around. - Everyone who works here is bright, and fantastic to work with - Kadena fosters a culture of presumed equality, with highlights for meritocratic excellence - Remote for the right senior candidates - Full health benefits - Great Pay - Great additional pay incentives (options + equity) - The leaders can't be beat. - A cap on the number of people means we can keep standards high - Unlimited Vacation - Great work/life balance

Cons

A cap on the number of people means the standard is incredibly high. You have to be prepared to step ya game up. The only problem i can find is that sometimes I'm so into what I'm doing that I forget about work/life balance, even though I've been encouraged to take vacation and leave on time.
