stagnant pay, even though there are cost of living increases Some shifts may be short

Pros

They have good health benefits and an overall optimistic atmosphere.

Cons

There is virtually no communication between departments. Managers do not support employees and do not give them the ability to make their own decisions. All decisions come from the top down. There is not accountability and most are give responsibility but no authority.

I enjoy teaching students in the lab and in the clinical setting. Great people to work with, and great lead instructors.

Cons

Part time instructors have limited contact with students in their lab time since instruction in the lab can only be done by MSN prepared nurses.
