Pros

Provides Health Insurance Great PTO! But you can't use it because you will be doing the job of multiple people

Cons

Will make it very well known that you are viewed as an expendable resource from day one. Will lure you in with a low salary + low workload and then quadruple your workload within the first year, and gaslight you to no end when you battle the immense stress that they have placed upon you. They argue that it is okay to do this, as long as they can find the word "other" in your job description and take no shame in trapping you with this technicality and exploiting you to no end.

With a lab class and lecture you can actually make pretty decent money ($2k every two weeks) The work environment is very casual and the students teaching the students is very rewarding
