Pros

Summer Fridays, work 4 nine hour days and receive Fridays off in the summer.

Cons

-Out of touch college administration and leadership -Board members do not care to address college leadership issues -Wrong people hired for leadership positions -Employee feedback/complaints (even when brought in a formal manner to HR) are neglected and looked the other way. -High staff turnover

Pros

My experience at KVCC has been excellent. The pay and benefits are competitive and the atmosphere is positive. It is not a stressful environment and for me, it is easier to strike more of a work/life balance than any of my previous employers.

Cons

There is limited opportunity to work from home. KVCC does not have a work-from-home policy. The expectation is that you report to the office.
