- Vision is broad and expansive: literally revolutionizing the financial system - Lots of ownership: you can own things end to end, even if you're super junior - Extremely smart people around you. Well above average for a startup or even hedge fund. - Hard-working, no BS culture (pro for me) - Very startup-y feel: low on process, low on administration, it's all about getting stuff done

- Virtually no onboarding period - Too may things to do at once sometimes

What you dream for in an early-stage startup

Pros

* Deep sense of camaraderie on the team; very much a team effort to build something great * Employees are capable and passionate * Founders are hardworking and clearly care about employees * Enormous trust placed in each person's hands from the first day on the job. Everyone has something important to do.

Cons

* Very high intensity workload, so stress levels can be high; the good news is that you generally won't be feeling it alone :) * For the sake of speed a lot of projects can't afford to have optimal long-term solutions, so there is more iteration and compromise of vision than at a larger company.
