I love all my coworkers, and the willingness they have to help wherever needed. Everyone is friendly and help create a well balanced and fun work environment.
Cons
We seem to have a lot of call offs and understaffing issues. Maybe the call off policy needs to be revamped.
Approachable Executive leadership
Board leadership that cares as much about the staff as they do the patients and community

Cons
Rural healthcare requires flexibility. I wear a LOT of different hats and at times it can be challenging to juggle all of that. If you are rigid about what is "your job", this might not be the place for you, but I love it here.
There is also not a TON of opportunity for career advancement just because we do not have the layers of leadership that are required in larger facilities.
