Pros

The culture is upbeat and vibrant. The product sold is a win for the consumer and the financial institution. The improvements are constantly being sought out by not only management but everyone employed here. Your input is highly regarded and encouraged.

Cons

Because it is a growing company the bar is set high. If you aren't a goals focused person who wants a career not a job this probably isn't your place.

The fact that the products we sell are a win for everyone involved (the consumers, the financial institutions we support, and our company) is a great call out that is sometimes overlooked. Thank you for calling that out.

Pros

Benefits are great. There is a mission to get excited about. Strong core values that most all employees really believe in and do their best to follow. There is still a lot of room for growth as a business.

Cons

Expectations are high and the values are taken very seriously. If you are not ready to jump in and embrace the culture, it might be better to look for another company.

Inadequate Leadership; No Growth for Years

Pros

Good group of employees, you will leave with friendships and a network, flexible time-off

Cons

Poor/inadequate leadership. No one is C-Suite is held accountable for missing the same corporate goals year over year - nor the stalled growth or continuous failed product “launches”. Multiple reorgs a year driven by Execs without any team lead input that creates exponential waste/overhead/confusion/exhaust that never pays off. Usually reverse their decisions in a matter of months. Rinse-and-repeat. Toxic HR environment not helped by the COO being a direct manager of the group given her known proximity to toxic work environments. This is definitely a place that “treats you like family” so be prepared for a forced culture and working during off hours. Pay is significantly below market value for all roles unless you started working there > 10 years ago.
